Project story
The Riverbend homeowners wanted a legal secondary suite that would qualify for the City of Edmonton grant and rent quickly. We planned two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a four-piece bath, and in-suite laundry inside the existing footprint.
Both bedrooms received code-compliant egress windows with proper wells, and the demising wall between the suite and the upstairs unit was upgraded for one-hour fire separation and STC-rated sound attenuation.
A full kitchen with electric range, upper and lower cabinets, quartz counters, and a stainless refrigerator was installed against a side-yard window for natural light. Luxury vinyl plank floors, warm neutral paint, and dedicated HVAC finished the space.
